LV.Net Network Engineers entry level oversee the maintenance and administration of our network. Responsibilities include configuring all network and radio equipment, investigating and identifying internal infrastructure issues, troubleshooting, and repairing client networks, and properly explaining the issue(s) to customers and staff.


  • Work with Field Techs to finalize RADIOS/VOIP/WIFI/CUSTOM INSTALLS
  • Work from the Network Engineering ticketing queue (Install Prep, Escalated Issues, Internal Jobs, etc...)
  • Collaborate with team members on projects
  • Detailed documentation of all custom jobs
  • Prep Cisco equipment when shipments arrive
  • Prep VoIP equipment when shipments arrive
  • Configure Point-To-Point/Multi-point radios for installation
  • Configure Cisco routers and switches for installation
  • Configure Wi-Fi equipment for installation
  • Crimp and punch down cat5 cables
  • Tone out / Trace CAT5 cables
  • Troubleshoot, test, and provide information to improve Wi-Fi networks
  • Interface with clients to plan, configure, and deploy VoIP PBX systems
  • Troubleshoot network issues with clients over the phone
  • Onsite troubleshooting for network issues on internal projects and client’s issues
  • Terminate and certify CAT5 cables using a Fluke or Pocketethernet


  • CCNA or higher is preferred (Those currently seeking CCNA are also encouraged to apply)
  • Clean driving record past 3 years
  • Must be able to work at client premises
  • Strong communications skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs (Cabinets / Network Equipment / etc...)
  • Must be able to use an 8-foot ladder
  • Willingness to be trained
